Prof. Hung-Yi Chen holds a Doctor of Laws from Nagoya University (Japanese Government Scholarship). He has served as Researcher and Asia-Pacific Lead at the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance (CCAF), University of Cambridge, and as MBA Programme Director and Master of Finance Programme Director at Zhejiang University International Business School (ZIBS).

During his time at the University of Cambridge, he led research projects commissioned by the World Bank and co-authored 6 globally influential fintech reports (including studies commissioned by the United Nations). He represented CCAF in delivering policy training and keynote speeches at institutions including the Central Bank of Jordan, the Bank of Thailand, and Tsinghua University in Beijing. He also represented Zhejiang University in dialogues with 2005 Nobel Laureate in Economics Robert Aumann and 2020 Nobel Laureate in Economics Robert Wilson.

He is currently the Founder and CEO of Meta Intelligence, leading a PhD-level team in delivering cutting-edge technology solutions for enterprises — from proof-of-concept to scaled deployment — spanning artificial intelligence, quantum computing, blockchain, and spatial computing.
